William Allen Moreland, Sr., age 77, of Camden, OH passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, 2014 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1936 in Irvine, KY to the late Elijah and Mamie Moreland. Bill retired from Southwestern Ohio Steel after 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, relaxing on his porch swing, fish frys and watching his three grandsons play sports. But he was happiest when simply surrounded by family and friends at home and in Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Franklin, Euie, Mills and Daniel Moreland; and two sons-in-law Craig Moore and Dean Michael. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara; daughters Connie Michael and Traci Moreland (Dave); son Bill (Erin) Moreland; grandsons Kyle (Abby) Moore, Logan Moreland and Eli Moreland; brothers Donald, Acie and Charlie Moreland; sister Irene Mitchell; and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
