William F. Peting

William F. Peting, age 77, of Eaton, OH passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Ft. Hamilton Hosptial in Hamilton, OH.  He was born June 15, 1944 in Yale, MI to the late Henry George and Alverta, Peting.  He was U.S. Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW Post #8066 in Eaton, OH.  He retired after 38 years of employment from Weyerhaeuser Paper in Eaton.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Coralee Wesaloski and Ida Bauman.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gianna Peting of Eaton; daughters Robin (Steven) Eck of West Alexandria and Lori (Dan) Page of Camden; grandchildren: Christopher Eck of Camden, Morganne Page of Spokane, WA, Kathlynn Eck of Covina, CA and Daniel Page, Jr of Camden; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.  Memorial contributions may be sent to VFW Post #8066, Eaton, OH.
