William R. Snively, Jr., age 90, of Eaton, OH passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. He was born October 15, 1929 in Butler County, OH to the late William R., Sr. and Lucille Snively. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War; and he retired from the Preble County Engineers office in 1991. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Snively, who passed away in 1985; brother Patrick Charles Snively; sister Rebecca Munden; and great grandson Atticus White. He is survived by his children: Victor W. (Renee) Snively of Tipp City, Kathy (Rick) White of Eaton, Robert A. (Juli) Snively of Richmond, Michael T. (Kathy) Snively of Camden and Patrick Snively (Stephanie Overholts) of Eaton; grandchildren: Jackie Bowen, Ricky White II, Darren Snively and Carolyn Snively; great grandchildren: Dylan, Isabella and Brody Bowen, Hayden White and Thomas Snively; sister Annabelle Osterberger; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Elaine Norton of Richmond. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
