William A. Watts, age 71, of Eaton, OH, passed away suddenly after a motorcycle accident on Friday, November 8, 2013. He was born October 11, 1942 in Garrett, IN to the late Charles and Louise Watts. Bill was an active member of the Church of Christ in Eaton, being a Deacon, Trustee, and Treasurer, at the time of his death. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Korea from 1966 until 1971. Bill had ridden many miles on his BMW motorcycle. He rode solo to all 4 corners of the United States on one trip, and went to Alaska on another trip, plus many trips to the Smokey Mountains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Steven Watts. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anita Dunlope Watts of Eaton, OH; sons Jeff Watts of Eldorado, OH, Mike (Gail) Watts of Eldorado, OH, Randy (Angia) Watts of Hartsville, IN and Greg (Megan) Watts of Elk Grove, CA, and their families; brother Rick (Bobbi) Watts of Cookeville, TN; sister Debi (David) Smith of Kettering, OH; grandchildren Jessica Watts, April Watts, Charles Watts, Zachary Watts and Charlotte Watts; great grandchildren Justin, Joseph, Jamison, Jalen and Jerzey; and many loved nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be receive on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 2:00 pm at the Church of Christ, 725 U.S. Route 35 West, Eaton, OH 45320 with Paul Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
