William B. Withrow

William B. Withrow, age 71, of Eaton, OH, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Vancrest Health Care, Eaton. He was born December 11, 1942 in Hamilton, OH to the late Virgil L. and Eloise M. Withrow. Bill graduated in 1960 from Shawnee High School. He was raised on Withrow and Sons Farm; was former manager of the Waterwheel Farm in Union; was former service and parts managers of Aukerman Ford; was the owner of Withrow Motor Sales established in 1970 and later added Withrow Suzuki; was a member of the Eaton Jaycees and was a Jaycees International Senator; was a recipient of the Kentucky State Colonel Award; member of the Eaton Lions Club; member of Ducks Unlimited; and a member of the Preble County 4-H and the 4-H Dairy National Congress. Bill was also a former Preble County Commissioner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife Anne Beasley Withrow. He is survived by his loving companion Julia Withrow of Eaton; daughter Betsy (Ladd) Gorby of Eaton; daughter Rebecca Withrow of Dayton; son William Scott (Denise) Withrow of Camden; daughter Stacy (Tony) Lewis of Eaton; grandchildren Dustin, Clay, Taylor, Brandon, Tristen, Alex and Chloe; 4 great grandchildren; sister Donna (Jim) Beasley of Eaton; brother Robert Withrow of Camden; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. A reception will immediately follow services in the church fellowship hall. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting the family with arrangements.
