Wilma L. Turner

Wilma L. Turner, age 81, of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully with her children by her side on July 21, 2023. She was born July 6, 1942 in Richmond, IN daughter of the late William and Grace (Wilson) Webb. Wilma was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a graduate of Preble Shawnee class of 1961 and a faithful member of Eaton Community Church. Wilma enjoyed walking, attending the YMCA for exercise classes, and spending time with her granddaughter. She loved taking care of those around her and bringing a smile to their face. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Hueston “Chuck” Turner; sisters, Imogene Ward, Geraldine “Geri” Beasley and Jeanette Mann; and brother, Bill Webb. She is survived by her children, Tina (Dusty) Dyer and Chet Turner; granddaughter, Kaila (Jon) Gunsalus; siblings, Barbara Howard, and Cheryl (James) Snowden; several nieces and nephews; her loyal cats, Arlo and Charli; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Memorial contributions can be made in Wilma’s honor to EverHeart Hospice.
